Come On III
This is Shawna Harding’s own Come On III, a 1999 Danish Warmblood Gelding by Come Back II and her primary competition horse. Come On III, or “bube”, was the 2007 Reserve Champion at the USEF Developing Horse Championships for 7-9 year olds. He has won multiple CDI events at both the Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I level. He is also a 4-time USDF Regional Champion at Fourth Level (’06), Fourth Level Freestyle (’06), Prix St. Georges (’06) and Intermediare I (’07). At an impressive 17.2 hands, he is a striking presence in the dressage arena. (photos | videos)
Richman
Congratulations to Kathleen Broughan on her recent purchase of Richman, a fully-licensed Danish Warmblood breeding stallion. Richman is KWPN born and registered and is available for breeding. Richman is by the sire Mantovani and the dam sire Zeoliet. For full pedigree, click here. The photo above is of Richman and Kathleen at the Rigbie Farm quarantine station 4 days after his arrival in the United States in December 2007. Rigo
Rigo is a 2001 Hanoverian Gelding by Rotspon out of a Wolkenstein II dam. He is one of Shawna Harding’s competition horses and is owned by her client Tonya Rowe. Imported in 2006, Rigo has excelled under Shawna’s training and is a 2007 USDF Regional Champion at First level. Look for Rigo in Wellington as he progresses through the second and third level divisions. (photos | videos)
Wahre Freude (For Sale!)
Wahre Freude is a fantastic 16.3 hands 3 year old Hanoverian mare by Weltregent. She has Donnerhall influence on both the Sire and Dam side. She is a very modern type dark bay - almost black. Contreau (For Sale!)
Contreau is Shawna Harding’s own 2003 Danish Warmblood gelding. He is a 16.3 hands bay by Kanudos XX out of Tarifa by May Sherif. Shawna found him on a trip to Europe in November 2007 while looking for young prospects. He has excellent walk, trot and canter. As of December 2007, Contreau has less than 2 months under saddle, yet is proving to have excellent temperament and work ethic. Look for some great things from this young horse. (photos | videos)
Joey (Sold!)
Joey is a 16-year-old KWPN gelding by Chronos out of Zigala with Cavalier as dam sire. He is shown through Grand Prix and is a past champion of the Region III Championships at both Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I. He is also a winner of the Heidelburg Cup in Orlando, Florida at the Prix St. Georges/Intermediare I level. He earned qualifying scores for professional rider/judge at Grand Prix. He also earned qualifying scores for an amateur rider at Intermediare I in their first two shows.
Joey is a beautiful model with three head-turning gaits including a 9-quality walk. With an established competitive record, he is an excellent competition horse for an ambitious amateur or young rider.
