While in Lexington for the USEF Developing Horse Championships, Shawna also competed in the MSEDA Championships held concurrently at the Kentucky Horse Park. Shawna used the show as a warm-up for Come On III and some more mileage heading up to the USDF Region 3 Championships for Beth Daniels’ Mozart. Each of the 3 rides was a resounding success.
On Friday, Shawna and Come On III rode the Prix St. Georges to a 73.750% and the show’s FEI High Score. Shawna rode Mozart on Friday and Saturday in the Third Level Test 3 and Fourth Level Test 3 respectively. Their scores of 73.953% and 74.634% won both classes and confirmed that Mozart is ready for his big day at the Region 3 Championships next month.
