Shawna had a good showing at the Labor’s Reward dressage show in her hometown of Aiken, SC on September 1-2. She won all four classes that she competed in on two horses, her own Come On III and Tonya Rowe’s Rigo. Her four scores in these tests were the four highest of the show above Training level. On Come On III Shawna scored 72.750% in the Intermediare I Freestyle and 72.500% in the Prix St. Georges. On Rigo she scored 71.316% in the First Level Test 4 and 71.667% in the First Level Test 1.
It was great to finally show competitively in front of her hometown friends and supporters. This was also a great final warm-up for the United States Equestrian Federation Developing Horse Championships - an event which she qualified first in the nation - to be held on September 14-16 in Lexington, KY.
